PG Barrier was formed in June 2001 after the demise of Bulwark Parking. A vibrant and up and coming parking and access control equipment manufacturer.
The founder member gained valuable experience in the parking and access control fields in his eight-year tenure at Bulwark Parking. During this time he headed up various teams in the production, operations, technical services and export sales departments.
The starting point of PG Barrier was the barrier gate or boom gate, as it is also known. As time went by PG’s distributors stressed the need for a cost effective ticket issue machine for the smaller car parks, with a pay-at-exit layout.
To finish the suite it also required a cashier station to calculate and collect the revenue on exit. This was also introduced and completes the parking solution.
PG Barrier does not only cater for the parking industry but with the versatility of the barrier gate can cater for any situation in the access control environment.
PG Barrier manufactures all of the equipment at its factory in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa and the marketing focus is to sell its products through a network of distributors worldwide.
Its tenacious reliability and cost effective price, have proven to be a welcomed addition to many access control suppliers preferred equipment.
